These terms apply when you use CV Builder AI, on the website at cvbuilderai.co.za or in our Android app ("the service"). By using the service, you agree to them. Please read them carefully, especially the clauses in section 8 that limit our liability.
The service is developed and managed by Khubas IT Solution (PTY) LTD, a company registered in South Africa.
The service helps you write a CV using an AI assistant, an editor and document templates. We do not find you work, and we do not guarantee that you will be shortlisted, interviewed or employed, or that any applicant tracking system will accept your CV. ATS scores are guidance only.
You sign in with your Google account and must keep it secure. You must be at least 18, or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You can delete your account at any time on the Account page.
The AI assistant can make mistakes. You must check everything in your CV before using it, and it must be truthful. Do not use the service to misrepresent your qualifications or experience, or to include details about someone else, such as a referee, without their permission.
You can build and preview a CV for free. You must have an active subscription to the matching plan to download a document. Each plan covers a group of CV styles. The prices, in South African rand and including any applicable VAT, are:
Each payment is once-off and unlocks one plan, with all the styles in it, for 1 month from the date of payment. It does not renew automatically. If you pay again while a subscription is active, the new month is added to the end of the current one. Payments are processed by Paystack, under its own terms. We may change prices for future purchases, but not for a period you have already paid for.

You may not misuse the service, attempt to bypass payment or usage limits, upload unlawful or harmful material, interfere with our systems or use automated tools to extract content. We may suspend accounts that do so. Daily limits apply to AI use so that the service stays fair and available.
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost employment opportunities, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 that cannot lawfully be limited, or liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
You own your personal information and the CV you create. We own the service, including its software, design and templates. You may use our templates only for your own CVs.
Public pages of the website may show advertising from Google and other partners. We do not endorse advertised products, and your dealings with advertisers are between you and them.

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with its date. South African law governs these terms. Please contact us first with any complaint, so that we can try to resolve it directly.
